Tuesday: 5pm-10pm
Wednesday: 5pm-10pm
Thursday: 5pm-10pm
Friday: 5pm-11pm
Saturday: 5pm-11pm
Sunday: 10am-8pm
Total Minimum Hours: 30 hours More hours and Overtime only approved by management. Schedule is subject to change at managements discretion at any time.
Food Runner
This position is responsible for the timely arrival of food at each seat in the restaurant. That includes knowledge and proper handling of food, must have food handlers certification. The runner presents clean plates to guests in a welcoming, knowledgeable and professional manner. Table etiquette is required at all times. Runner must be dressed in appropriate uniform and be prepared for shift upon arrival. Additionally the runner may pack to go orders/online orders as needed. Very importantly, the runner communicates with servers and staff about food allergies, 86ed items, kitchen issues, kitchen times/needs at all during shift. Runner should always make an effort to learn their customers names, preferences and dislikes.
List of Duties:
- Runs food to tables immediately when 90% of table order is ready on the pass.
- Preps BOH server station with condiments, sauces, plates, spoons etc.
- Learns all table numbers and floor map (including restrictions)
- Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction
- 86 items for FOH
- Keeps floor map updated throughout shift
- Observes every table for needs once food is delivered
- Communicates with servers if customer needs items are table/reorders
- Cleans, organizes and stocks to go supplies at the pass including pens and markers
- Learns restaurant Menu and policies to give accurate info to customers
- Alerts kitchen of large party arrivals (especially walk ins)
- Alerts kitchen lead of returned items and items that need to be fired immediately.
Health Check Agreement:
- Must report to management ASAP when you start to have any type of symptoms prior to coming into work.
