About the Role
As an Immigration Attorney, Client Advisor at Alma, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between potential clients and our innovative immigration legaltech platform. Alma is backed by leading VCs such as Bling Capital, Forerunner, Village Global, NFX, NEA, and Conviction and was founded by a team of Harvard and UCLA alumni. Your role will involve leveraging your legal expertise to guide potential clients through their immigration needs, collaborating with our Account Executives (AEs) and CEO, and presenting Alma's value proposition effectively. Additionally, you will work closely with the marketing team to attend events, webinars, and produce thought leadership content like blogs and visa guides. Responsibilities
Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) and enable them during the sales process.
Guide potential clients by providing expertise on complex immigration processes and identifying tailored solutions for their challenges.
Build strong relationships with prospective clients by delivering valuable insights.
Partner with Alma’s marketing team on go-to-market efforts.
Act as a thought leader in the immigration space, contributing to Alma’s reputation as an expert in immigration legal services.
Stay updated on immigration policy changes to ensure accurate and relevant guidance to clients.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-haves:
Active license to practice law in the U.S. with 2-5 years of experience in immigration legal services.
Strong knowledge of employment-based immigration processes and visa types (e.g., H-1B, O-1, EB-2, EB-1A).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in an accessible manner.
Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, building trust and providing tailored guidance.
A passion for helping immigrants and startups achieve their goals through innovative solutions.
Bonus Skills:
Prior experience working in a sales or business development role within the immigration legal services industry.
Start-up experience or familiarity with high-growth environments.

Compensation Range: $160K - $190K
Salary : $160,000 - $190,000
