What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refrigeration Technician position at Almcoe Refrigeration?
We are looking for an experienced refrigeration technician to join our installation and repair team. As a refrigeration technician, you will be responsible for processing and completing work orders, installing new refrigeration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance. You may also be required to advise on equipment upgrades and alternate cooling units.
- Requirements:- 3 to 5 years of commercial experience with HVAC package units, refrigeration walk-ins, ice machines, and self-contained service.- Proficient understanding of electrical wiring schematics.- Ability to diagnose refrigeration and HVAC issues and repair equipment in a timely manner.- Familiarity with E2, Novar, and general control systems. We are open to considering candidates with strong experience in commercial HVAC who are interested in being trained and developed into a rack technician.
