What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern, Environmental Health and Safety position at Alnylam?
Overview
The intern will work with the EHS Team to build / improve eLearning Modules; assisting with the development of Emergency Action Plans for events such as Loss of Power, Chemical Spill; Medical Emergency, Smoke / Fire. As well as :
- Assist the EHS Team with continuous improvement of various aspects of our EHS Management System Framework
- Conduct area inspections
- Assist with development or updating EHS programs
- Audit Chemical Inventory System
- Support the new ergonomic assessment tool rollout
- Work on sustainability-related projects
- Utilize common personal protective equipment used in the laboratory and industrial settings
- Learn and Work with Industrial Hygiene Instrumentation.
