Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support Specialist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to patients in a clinical setting, focusing on children and senior care.
- Assist with the management of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for patients.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling patient information.
- Support healthcare providers in delivering infectious disease care.
- Perform basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the clinic systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless experience.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or in a nursing home setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices.
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) processes is a plus.
- Strong background in patient service, particularly in senior care environments.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Previous experience in clinical settings, especially related to infectious disease care, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
