Director of Nursing – Long-Term Care (Contract Position)
Location: Grafton, WV 26354
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations in a long-term care setting. This contract role combines clinical expertise with leadership to ensure high-quality care and strong team performance.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing operations and staff performance
- Drive excellence in clinical care, patient experience, and team development
- Foster a collaborative environment focused on top-of-license practice
- Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and nursing standards
- Support continuous improvement and resident-centered care
Qualifications:
- Current RN license; BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- At least 1 year of nurse leadership in long-term care
- Knowledge of MDS, state nurse practice act, and regulatory compliance
- On-call availability required
