Pay Rate: $20-22/hr on W2

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying, preventing, and investigating fraudulent activities within our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, regulatory reporting, and fraud detection methodologies. The Fraud Analyst will collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with securities law and enhance our fraud prevention strategies.

Duties

• Analyze financial transactions and account activities to detect signs of fraud or irregularities.
• Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, gathering evidence and documenting findings.
• Prepare detailed reports on fraud cases for internal review and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to securities law and relevant regulations.
• Provide insights on financial analysis and technical accounting practices to enhance fraud detection measures.
• Stay updated on industry trends related to fraud prevention and detection, implementing best practices within the organization.
• Assist in the development of training programs for staff on fraud awareness and prevention techniques.

Experience

• Strong knowledge of financial concepts, governmental accounting, public accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in fraud prevention detection is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with technical accounting principles and financial analysis methods.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
