Sales Coordinator
Aloft Hotel Coppell Grapevine by Marriott is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. Our sales and engineering staff are responsible for providing our customers with the latest in vehicle parts and solutions.
Job Description:
The primary purpose of the Sales Coordinator is to sell and service parts and or solutions to our customers in a manner that maximizes customer satisfaction, which is achieved through timely delivery of goods and solutions. This position will also be responsible for developing new customer relationships, as well as assisting in the process of order entry, order fulfillment, and return of parts and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business with existing customers, including developing leads through outbound marketing activities, lead generation programs, etc.
- Develop a strong understanding of Aloft Hotel Coppell Grapevine’s products and services offerings to ensure successful implementation.
- Conduct in-person sales meetings with prospective customers at their local business locations.
- Follow up on all sales leads to ensure that sales goals are achieved.
- Follow up on all sales contracts and ensure that all customers are satisfied before the order is closed.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of Aloft Hotel Coppell Grapevine’s customers in order to generate new business opportunities within the company.
- Create and maintain a database of all Aloft Hotel Coppell Grapevine’s products and services, as well as maintain records on sales data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·1-2 years of sales experience preferred; other sales skills preferred (e.g., customer service, finance, accounting, etc.).
·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; ability to build rapport with clients; strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently; self-motivated; detail-oriented; independent work style; ability to work in a team environment; excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task; ability to work under pressure; flexibility to adapt to changing demands/goals; ability to work independently under supervision.
Knowledge of Lightspeed is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
