Lighting Designer

Job Summary
Aloha Artisans is a premier event and wedding rental company specializing in creating unforgettable experiences through elegant, high-quality rentals. Our team is passionate about bringing visions to life with exceptional service and creative design. We are looking for a talented and creative Lighting Designer to join our growing team and help elevate the ambiance of our events and weddings. Your job would include creating custom lighting designs for weddings, working with our team to install and execute gorgeous lighting installations.

Duties

• Oversee the entire production process from pre-production through post-production, ensuring that all aspects align with the creative vision.
• Responsible for designing and executing lighting and draping installation setups.
• Set up and operate lighting equipment, including but not limited to uplights, spotlights, string lights, and chandeliers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot lighting equipment before, during, and after events.
• Ensure all projects are completed on schedule.
• Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in lighting technology to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Manage lighting inventories and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.

Skills

• Proven experience in lighting design, preferably in the event and wedding industry.
• Strong understanding of lighting equipment
• Ability to work creatively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with your team, the client and other vendors.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful, immersive experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
