Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their marine insurance needs.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and opportunities for growth.
- Engage in outside sales activities, including networking and community outreach, to promote insurance products.
- Utilize telemarketing strategies to reach out to prospective clients and schedule appointments.
- Provide expert advice on benefits administration and policy options tailored to individual marine client needs.
- Negotiate terms of insurance contracts with clients, ensuring clarity and understanding of coverage details.
- Assist clients with claims processing and provide ongoing support throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and policy renewals.
Skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in an insurance or financial services environment.
- Marine Insurance Experience or have been in the industry of Marine for multiple years.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate policy benefits and terms.
- Ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Familiarity with benefits administration processes is a plus.
- Experience in retail sales or sales administration is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple client accounts.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
