Job Title: Director – Quality

Base Salary: Up to $160K Benefit's and other perks (Based on education and experience)
Overview:
The Director of Quality is responsible for overseeing all aspects of organizational quality and performance improvement initiatives. This includes compliance with regulatory agencies (Joint Commission, CMS, State of NM), disease-specific certifications, public reporting, patient satisfaction, Leapfrog scores, and national quality designations. This role requires a visionary leader who can manage, develop, and mentor teams while driving continuous quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct all aspects of quality improvement and patient safety programs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
Lead efforts in public reporting, patient satisfaction, Leapfrog, and national quality rankings.
Oversee Disease Specific Certification and Infection Prevention teams.
Develop and maintain quality-related policies, accreditation readiness, and program compliance.
Prepare and manage departmental budgets and staffing productivity.
Develop and mentor staff while fostering a culture of quality and safety.
Coordinate and lead regulatory survey preparations and follow-ups.
Must-Haves:
Current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Seven (7) years of healthcare experience, including three (3) years in a leadership role.
Strong experience coordinating quality improvement initiatives with proven outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
Advanced degree: MSN, MBA, or Healthcare Administration.
Experience in a for-profit hospital setting.
Familiarity with regulatory agencies and standards in an acute care environment.
Background in program development, budgeting, and staff productivity management.

Salary : $110,000 - $160,000
