Travel Echo Technologist Job Description
Echocardiograph Technicians are a specific kind of diagnostic medical sonographer dealing with the heart. They use ultrasound devices and other imaging tools to create images of the heart, inspecting its chambers, walls, and valves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate echocardiogram equipment to produce high-quality images of the heart.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Analyze cardiac structures and functions using advanced imaging techniques.
- Develop and maintain accurate patient records and reports.
Requirements:
- Current certification as an Echocardiograph Technician (RDCS) or registry eligible.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in echocardiography or a related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
