Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a behavioral based intervention/therapy applied to children with autism and other developmental delays that focuses on improving skills in specific domains of functioning, such as social skills, communication, play, learning skills, motor dexterity, hygiene, and grooming, and more.

- 7:00am to 9:00pm (Monday through Friday)
- 8am to 12:00pm (Saturday)

Hourly Pay:
- Clinical Responsibilities (98% of position): $20.00 to $26.00/hourly
- Administrative Responsibilities (drive-time, training, team meetings, clerical work, etc.,): $17.28/hourly

Position requirements:
- A minimum of a HS diploma or BA/BS in the field of Psychology, Child Development, Social Work or related fields.
- 6-months related experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations
- Proficiency in oral and written English (Bilingual in Spanish speaking a plus)
- Ability to work 10-40 hours/week
- Valid California Class C driver's license, insurance, and own transportation
Our Behavior Technicians (Child Development Instructors) are the front-line staff working directly with the children we serve under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. The Behavior Technician is responsible for completing client treatment/lesson plan and teaching socially significant skills to improve the quality of life of the children we serve through the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Behavior Technicians will run session between 2 to 4 hours with a client at our amazing clinics, client home, or client school environment. Additional work environments may include community environments.

- Implement age-appropriate interactions and activities that encourage cognitive, physical, and emotional development.
- Assess children's abilities and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters respect and collaboration among children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and activities.
- Maintain accurate data collection of clients' progress and activities.
- Stay updated on best ABA practices in child development and early education.
