Position Overview:
As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial efficiency, ensuring compliance, and fostering collaboration across multiple teams. You will provide strategic direction, manage cross-departmental workflows, and define accounting standards and SOPs to streamline our financial operations. Additionally, you will function as a key resource for supporting Salesforce needs within your department and among your teams, ensuring optimal integration with our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and manage multiple finance-related departments and teams, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Define clear team objectives and KPIs, regularly monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work culture across teams.
- Establish and maintain the firms accounting standards and SOPs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring team members meet their individual and team objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and shareholders.
- Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and support Salesforce needs related to finance and accounting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of Salesforce with other financial tools and systems.
- Provide Salesforce training or support to teams as it pertains to finance.
- Provide constant direction and guidance to teams on financial processes and initiatives.
- Support cross-departmental collaboration to ensure streamlined workflows and cohesive execution of projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the firms practices remain current and competitive.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree or CPA preferred).
- At least three years of experience in management, including leading and managing multiple teams.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Direct experience with Salesforce integration and financial system support.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
