We seek an experienced, results-orientated IT Manager to assist the Director of IT in the daily management of the IT division and projects.
Job Description
As the IT Manager, you will bring a blend of emotional intelligence, system management, and technical expertise, allowing you to successfully collaborate with the Director of IT on aligning IT initiatives with company goals while owning system security and operational excellence.
*This role requires seasoned expertise in project management and a solid understanding of Salesforce administration (including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components).
What Your Work-life Comprises
- Management & Reporting
- Serve as the senior manager for the IT division, collaborating with and supervising the Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, and Engineering Managers, ensuring their teams align with organizational objectives set out by the Director of IT.
- Promote and advocate the established culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the IT division.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of IT to execute the division’s strategic roadmap.
- Represent the IT division in cross-departmental meetings and initiatives.
- Salesforce Platform Management
- Oversee the administration, customization, and optimization of the company’s CRM (Salesforce)
- Participate in the design and deployment of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and API integrations.
- Collaborate with company stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that enhance business processes and user experience.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance within the Salesforce environment.
- Security Management
- Continue developing and implementing robust IT security strategies to protect organizational data and infrastructure.
- Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and incident response planning.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Lead the deployment of network and security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Project Management:
- Lead all IT and Salesforce-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while defining requirements and allocating resources effectively across the IT division.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience:
- 7 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years managing Salesforce platforms.
- Proven expertise in IT security, including risk management, compliance, and incident response.
- Demonstrated experience supervising senior technical managers and leading cross-functional teams.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of SQL and APEX (including Visualforce and Lightning Components).
- Strong problem-solving skills with an aptitude to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Spanish.
