As an HR - Organizational Development Intern , you will play a crucial role in supporting the full scope of our company's talent needs including attraction / hiring, retention / engagement, and growth / development. Your creativity, communication, and attention to detail organizational skills will be utilized to identify process improvement opportunities, build collaborative internal and external partnerships, and support our overall workforce needs through various HR-related activities. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience and exposure into strategic HR operations including Recruiting, Training & Development, and Communications.
Responsibilities
The student selected as the Organizational Development Intern will work at our US Headquarters located in Charlotte, NC. Interns are reportable to their assigned team's supervisor.
Students will have the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally with other personnel and teams at their intern site to accomplish their assigned projects and tasks including :
Talent Acquisition
- Provide support for the full recruitment lifecycle process including interfacing with hiring teams, reviewing resumes, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.
- Assist with strategic talent acquisition efforts and projects as assigned by the intern supervisor such as student programs, university relations, employer branding, ect.
- Collect and analyze recruiting data and develop reports / dashboards to present key findings to stakeholders.
- Administer key talent systems and processes such as Alpek Polyester's applicant tracking system (ATS), candidate assessments, and Geomobility (relocation and immigration) support.
Talent Development
Successful execution of job responsibilities requires the ability to operate independently and effectively utilize initiative, attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality.
