As a Logistics Intern, you will play a crucial role in enabling and executing the distribution network of our final products to our customers in the most efficient way, while preserving the integrity of our material.
Responsibilities
The student selected as the Logistics Intern will work at our CA - Columbia Site located in Gaston, SC. Interns are reportable to their assigned team's supervisor and will have the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally with other personnel and teams at their intern site to accomplish their assigned projects and tasks including :
- Quickly learn high level Logistics Scope of Work to better relate to the project
- Lead 1-2 various projects over the course of the semester which will include a benchmarking analysis, Process Documentation and Optimization, off site inventory cost analysis
- Support logistics functions in Rail, Truck, and Product Integrity initiatives
- High level of interaction with internal groups (operations, sales, supply chain, finance)

Majoring in Supply Chain Management
