We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Procurement team based out of our Gaston, SC facility. The ideal candidate for the Logistics Procurement Specialist position will be results driven, motivated by challenges and have excellent communication, organization, administration and interpersonal skills. This role is responsible for US and Canada Logistics Cost reporting and supporting the Logistics team with various initiatives to be a competitive, reliable supply chain.
Responsibilities
The Logistics Procurement Specialist will be reportable to the Logistics Supervisor and have responsibilities for the following tasks :
- Responsible for Logistics Cost reporting for various business segments which is Excel and PowerBI driven
- Develop detailed analysis on logistics spend and performance metrics
- Present data, findings and optimization opportunities to various groups within the business
- Present opportunities to streamline our current internal processes
- Develop and maintain railcar fleet sizing models and other reports related to our railcar fleet strategy
- Support various logistics functions
- High level of interaction with internal groups (operations, sales, supply chain, finance)
