The Youth Administrative Assistant would support the Youth Departments in ensuring that registration, programming, and special events are prepared in time for the program season.

Role Summary :

  • The Youth Administrative Assistant would support in ensuring that registration, programming, and special events are prepared in time for the program season.
  • Forming and maintaining effective working relationships with parents, staff, and children.
  • Shows respect for self, fellow staff, and honors others as they would honor themselves.
  • Creates a warm and welcoming environment within the organization.
  • Generates necessary reports and documentation as needed and / or required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to perform other related duties as needed and / or required.

Primary Responsibilities :

Children and Families :

  • Examine each participant’s registration for accuracy.
  • Communicate with families to assist with registration.
  • Support the Registrar in all aspects of registration.
  • Documenting compliance with all Children’s Trust requirements.
  • Inputting Children’s Trust data collection.
  • Assist with internal programs.
  • Work with the Afterschool Care team and supervisors and act as a support system for all aspects of the program.
  • Process all financial aid applications.
  • Job Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or support role.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
