We are seeking an experienced Director to oversee our Independent Supported Residential and Day Programs serving individuals with disabilities and mental health needs. This leadership role will play a vital part in ensuring a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for our program participants.

We are seeking an experienced Director to oversee our Independent Supported Residential and Day Programs serving individuals with disabilities and mental health needs. This leadership role will play a vital part in ensuring a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for our program participants.
Essential Responsibilities
- Program Management:
- Oversee all aspects of residential and day programs, including daily operations, staffing, budgeting, and service delivery.
- Develop and implement individualized program plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each participant.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing disabilities and mental health services.
- Collaborate with the Case Management team and work within the clinical infrastructure of the agency.
- Fiscal Oversight:
- Monthly P&L review.
- Ensure overtime is within budgetary guidelines on a weekly basis.
- Work with Disabilities Liaison to ensure adequate pipeline of clients and program growth.
- Medication Oversight and Distribution:
- Review and enhance the current medication management process, ensuring accurate and timely medication administration for all participants.
- Supervise staff trained in medication administration and provide ongoing support.
- Provide oversight of the medication certification process.
- Facility Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of residential facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
- Develop and implement safety protocols for residents and staff.
- Manage facility budgets for maintenance and repairs.
- Activities and Transportation:
- Oversee the development of engaging and therapeutic activity schedules that promote participant development and well-being.
- Oversee transportation arrangements for residents to appointments, community activities, and program outings.
- Ensure all transportation adheres to safety regulations and participant needs.
- Leadership and Staff Development:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to residential and day program staff.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of qualified and dedicated staff members.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes professional growth.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and guardians, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
- Partner with external agencies and community resources to enhance program offerings and participant success.
- Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and detailed program documentation for funding, regulatory purposes, the Federal Department of Transportation, the Council on Accreditation and Performance Quality Improvement.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing residential and/or day programs for individuals with disabilities and/or mental health needs.
- Proven experience in medication oversight and administration, or willingness to learn.
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations governing disability services and mental health care.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, staff, and resources effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to a person-centered care approach.
- Valid FL driver's license with a good driving record.
- Current auto insurance coverage.
