URM Stores is currently looking for motivated Warehouse Order Pickers to join our amazing team! All our employees have a variety of opportunities for growth within their position and the company as a whole! Whether you are new to the industry, unfamiliar with our processes, we will ensure you are trained safely, and properly by our experienced training team.

What to expect day to day: If being physically active at work is important to you, you definitely need to read on!

• You will be moving, bending, & lifting items up to 80 lbs. all throughout your entire shift and nearly 6000 lbs. per hour, it’s like a gym membership without the gym membership!
• Safe operation of electric pallet jacks to move throughout the warehouse to build, organize and palletize product and staging orders when they are ready for shipment.
• You will be responsible for preparing customer orders that grow our business, instilling and reinforcing safety above all else.
• On occasion work in a refrigerated/freezer portion of the warehouse with temperatures ranging from 35 degrees to as low as negative 25 degrees in the freezer.
• Must be consistent, attentive to detail and informed about the products the company provides to be able to provide the customers exactly what they need and expect.
• Communicate with supervisors and warehouse department employees any issues related to performing duties.
• Find and communicate ways to improve and or increase productivity.
• Conducted day by day checks of powered equipment, by means of a safety checklist, to make sure such equipment is in fine working order.
• Must be able to step up and down an 8-inch step continually throughout the workday.
• This Union position will be part of Teamsters Local 690.
