The Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients within our dental office. This position is responsible for coordinating treatment plans, managing patient interactions, and facilitating communication between patients and dental providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental pre-authorization and insurance verification, along with excellent organizational, interpersonal skills and can maintain daily schedule.
Duties
MUST BE BILLINGUAL!
- Coordinate and manage patient treatment plans from initial consultation to completion.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and other insurance providers.
- Utilize software systems such as Dentrix, DentalXChange, dental websites, management and billing processes.
- Provide patients with clear explanations of treatment options, procedures, and associated costs.
- Assist in the preparation of dental billing documents to ensure accurate processing of claims.
- Maintain organized patient records and documentation in compliance with office policies.
- Act as a liaison between patients and dental professionals to address any questions or concerns.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment progress.
Skills
MUST BE BILLINGUAL!
- Proficiency in dental office software such as Dentrix and Dental X Change is preferred.
- Strong understanding of insurance verification processes, including Medicare regulations.
- Familiarity with Dental Billing
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Previous 5 experience in a dental is highly desirable.
