What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist, Nights position at Alpha Home Health and Hospice?
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for administering pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents for respiratory care as prescribed by physicians. This is a full-time night shift position.
- Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program required.
- Licenses & Certifications: CRT or RRT credential, Mississippi Respiratory Therapist License, and current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (NRP and PALS within 90 days of hire).
- Qualifications: Experience with ventilators, high flow O2, and BiPAP is essential; Cerner charting experience is a plus; must have a positive attitude and good time management skills.
