What You’ll Do

Department Buildout & Strategy

• Design and implement Alpha Inc.'s first facilities function, including org structure, tools, and workflows.
• Develop and maintain a facilities intake/request system for maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
• Create order processes for equipment, parts, and supplies with approval and tracking workflows.
• Develop SOPs for preventive maintenance, emergency protocols, and daily facility operations.
  
  

Facilities Operations & Maintenance

• Manage all Alpha-owned and leased properties, ensuring they are operational, safe, and compliant.
• Oversee janitorial, landscaping, utilities, security systems, and general building upkeep.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain detailed records of facility conditions.
• Implement and manage a preventive maintenance schedule across all locations.
  
  

Construction & Build-Out Coordination

• Act as project manager for all facility build-outs, renovations, and new space launches.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ensure construction efforts align with company standards, safety regulations, and operational needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic expansion or relocation efforts.
  
  

IT & Infrastructure Coordination

• Partner with the IT team to ensure proper build-out of network infrastructure, equipment placement, and technology setup during expansions or relocations.
• Coordinate facilities needs related to power, cabling, server rooms, and telecoms.
• Ensure physical security infrastructure (cameras, badge access, etc.) is properly installed and maintained.
  
  

Vendor & Lease Management

• Build and manage relationships with vendors for maintenance, construction, and service contracts.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service-level agreements.
• Oversee lease agreements, renewals, and compliance documentation.
  
  

Inventory Management

• Set up and manage SKU-based inventory tracking for parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure optimal stock levels and implement reordering workflows to minimize downtime and waste.
• Track usage trends, manage procurement, and reduce costs through strategic sourcing.
  
  

Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related role.
• Proven experience building or leading a facilities function from scratch.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
• Experience coordinating build-outs and vendor management in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Proven experience managing budgets and vendor contracts
• Knowledge of OSHA, building codes and local compliance regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
  
  

The compensation will vary based on experience ranging between $85,000 - $95,000 per year.
