Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a crew of concrete laborers and masons.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to team members to promote skill development and safety awareness.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of structural concrete work, including formwork, rebar placement, concrete pouring, and finishing.
- Ensure project timelines and schedules are met while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and job site inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to execute work accurately.
- Monitor materials and equipment usage to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
- Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, and other stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs.
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless workflow.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of labor, materials, and equipment used on the job site.
- Report project updates, delays, and issues to the superintendent or project manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural concrete construction, including supervisory roles
- Proven experience with formwork systems, rebar installation, and concrete finishing for vertical and horizontal structures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in concrete construction techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
Compensation: $55-$60 per hour based on experience.
