Responsibilities

- Conduct regular assessments of foster homes to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide training and resources to foster families to enhance their caregiving skills.
- Collaborate with child protective services, schools, and community organizations to coordinate services for children in care.
- Monitor the progress of children in the foster care system, advocating for their needs and rights.
- Facilitate family meetings and develop individualized service plans for children.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to case management activities.
- Stay updated on best practices within child welfare and implement necessary changes within the program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in child welfare, social work, or related areas.
- Knowledge of child protective services processes and regulations.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities, is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $48,500.00 per year
