The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in working with sheet metal, ensuring high-quality production standards. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products while adhering to safety protocols and quality inspections.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or similar role is preferred.
- Experience as a Lead Sheet Metal Worker is a plus.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
- Experience in quality inspection practices to uphold product standards.
Qualifications
- Graduated from a DIR Approved Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Program
