Alpha Media - Farmington / Festus is seeking a talented Part Time On-Air Programmer / Board operator for our Farmington location. The ideal candidate is a person who is capable of wearing many hats and has a passion for radio. Duties will include news writing and reading, audio production, and running the board during local sports broadcasts. Knowledge of WordPress and video production is a plus. The position is on an as-needed basis.
Locally, Alpha Media operates radio stations KTJJ, KREI, and KJFF as well as We will provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities of this position may include :
- Engage with listeners via phone calls, contests, and social media.
- Covering on-air board shifts as needed.
- Broadcast live from remote locations and events.
- Operate control console.
