What are the responsibilities and job description for the API Tester position at Alpha Net Consulting LLC?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in API testing, with a strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications and APIs, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, or Rest Assured.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Automation testing experience (preferred) using tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, or Postman Automation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
- Ability to write clear and concise test documentation and bug reports.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
