position will be responsible for providing technical support for desktop systems, software, and peripherals. This role ensures smooth operations by troubleshooting, resolving issues, and maintaining desktop environments, including collaborating with IT teams for incident management and system updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners).
- Software & Application Management: Install, configure, and maintain corporate applications (Microsoft Office, third-party tools, etc.).
- Active Directory & Security: Manage user accounts, group policies, and ensure desktop security.
- Incident Management: Coordinate with IT teams to resolve incidents and manage change tickets.
- System Deployment & Maintenance: Deploy new systems, perform OS upgrades, and ensure system health.
- Remote Support: Provide remote troubleshooting for desktop issues, VPN, and connectivity.
- Documentation: Maintain hardware/software inventories and troubleshooting guides.
- User Training: Train end-users on software and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years of desktop support or IT support experience.
- Proficient in Windows (Win 7/10) or macOS environments.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop systems, software, and peripherals.
- Experience with remote desktop support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and end-users.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
