Exchange Server Administrator

Job Title: MS Exchange System Administrator
Clearance Required: DOD Secret
Work Location: Onsite, Washington, DC – Navy Yard

Alpha Omega is seeking an experienced MS Exchange Systems Administrator for a role on one of our Federal projects in Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
• Assist with the ongoing design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical sustainment of Navy production networks.
• Coordinate work with in-house teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions.
• Investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going.
• Lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and Navy mission needs.

Required Qualifications:

Education:            

• HS diploma or GED

Experience/Skills:

• Operating Environment Certification (i.e. Microsoft, VMware cert).
• 4 years of Hand-On experience operating and maintaining multiple Microsoft Exchange Servers.
• 3 years of Hand-On experience implementing DoD STIGS.
• 3 years of experience with Windows Server 2016/18/22, Active Directory, Group Policy.
• Windows DNS, Windows Server Update Services, Windows patching or vulnerability remediation, VMware, or ESXi.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience applying security patches to systems, including security vulnerability reporting.
• Knowledge of FISMA, DoD, and DoN information security doctrine (RMF).
• Knowledge of best practices regarding requirements management, development, design, and testing, and system and software architecture practices, tools, and methodologies.

Certification(s):

• Active Security Certification
• Operating Environment Certification (i.e. Microsoft, VMware cert)

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $94,614.50- $105,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
