Part-Time Strength and Conditioning Coach
Location: Alpha Project Strength and Conditioning – Dallas, TX
Alpha Project is a premier strength and conditioning facility looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and passionate coach to lead small group training and personal training sessions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment and is committed to helping clients improve fitness, performance, and overall health.
Schedule:
- 15-30 hours per week
- Small Group Coaching: 5-15 hours
- Personal Training: 10-15 hours
Key Responsibilities
Small Group Coaching (5-15 Hours/Week)
- Develop and lead structured training programs.
- Arrive 30 minutes early to set up and review the session plan.
- Adjust workouts as needed for individual clients.
- Track client progress using Fitli & Teambuilr.
- Conduct assessments for new clients. (Goal: 2-5 assessments per month.)
- Convert assessed clients into ongoing training programs.
Personal Training (10-15 Hours/Week)
- Design individualized programs based on client goals.
- Track progress and modify workouts as needed. (Goal: Review and adjust weekly/monthly.)
- Provide weekly follow-ups with personal training clients.
- Schedule consultations with potential clients.
- Encourage referrals through incentives. (Goal: 1 referral per month.)
Facility Upkeep & Management
- Maintain a clean, organized gym space. (Goal: 5-10 minutes of cleaning after each session.)
- Participate in weekly cleaning tasks and monthly deep cleaning.
- Inspect equipment and report any maintenance issues.
Marketing & Outreach
- Promote training services via social media (optional but encouraged).
- Maintain a professional presence on social platforms. Public accounts receive priority for private training leads.
Team Collaboration & Development
- Attend bi-weekly team meetings and share client feedback.
- Complete 1-2 continuing education courses annually.
- Engage with the Alpha community outside of training.
Safety & Risk Management
- Ensure clients use proper form and prevent injuries.
- Correct improper movements immediately.
Qualifications
- Certifications: NSCA-CSCS, NASM, ACSM, or similar.
- Experience: 1-2 years in small group and personal training.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
- Strong communication and adaptability.
