What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Development Specialist position at Alpha Square Group?
We are seeking an HR Development Specialist to manage all aspects of the hiring process, from advertising open positions to interviewing candidates and finalizing hires.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans.
- Create and publish job postings across various job portals.
- Network with potential candidates through professional groups, social media, and industry events.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define qualification criteria for future hires.
- Screen resumes and job applications.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to shortlist qualified candidates.
- Interview candidates in person for a range of positions, from junior to executive levels.
- Track key hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire.
- Train and advise hiring managers on interview techniques and assessment methods.
- Organize and participate in job fairs.
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Build and manage a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Development Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with major job platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and industry-specific hiring resources.
- Strong knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques, including social media and niche professional sites (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, GitHub, Stack Overflow).
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Salary : $55,000 - $80,000
