Assistant Site Director- Before and After School Kent Island, MD
AlphaBEST provides Certification Training for Group Leader and Site Director Positions. If you do not have the licensing requirement of 90 hour certification WE WILL PAY FOR YOUR 90 HOUR CERTIFICATION TO WORK AS A GROUP LEADER/SITE DIRECTOR.
500.00 Hiring Bonus 250.00 after 90 days 250.00 at end of school year
Location:Kent Island Elementary School located at 110 Elementary Way Stevensville MD HOURS AM Shift 6:15am-9am PM Shift 3:15pm-6pm

All Assistant Site Directors shall be at least 21 years of age and meet ONE OF THE FOLLOWING for state licensing qualifications:
- High school diploma, certificate of high school equivalency
OR
- Successful completion of at least 6 credits from an accredited college or university
In addition must have:
- 6 semester, 90 clock hours or the equivalent of approved pre-service training
OR
- Hold the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential issued by the Council for Professional Recognition
OR
- Approved as a teacher by MSDE for early childhood education, including Nursery Grade 3 and has 6 semester hours in early childhood education
OR
- Certification by MSDE or by any other state for early childhood education, including nursery Grade 3
AND
- 1 year of experience working directly with children in an approved setting (registered child care home, licensed child care center, nursery school, church operated school, or similar setting)
OR
- 1 year of experience as a registered family child care provider
