DTG Group Lead Operator Job Summary
This position is the primary technical expert for the Direct to Garment operations on the production floor. The DTG Group Lead Operator is responsible for ensuring that all DTG equipment is properly maintained and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain standardized operational processes and procedures related to high-quality DTG garment embellishment.
- Ensure a full understanding of M&R Polaris Machinery, production capabilities/requirements, and art production.
- Liaise with M&R Tech Support to ensure necessary support for success.
- Work closely with the in-house maintenance team to ensure the highest production performance quality standards are achieved.
- Perform mechanical operation and maintenance of DTG equipment according to established guidelines and schedules.
- Setup and operate DTG equipment.
- Assist with training department operators.
- Maintain color profiles and machine print settings, and manage art ripping software.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of relevant industry/appparel printing experience.
- M&R Polaris experience & screen print experience are helpful.
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience are preferred.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills, and great attention to detail.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish are a plus.
