Position: Project Manager with Pharma background
Location: Conshohocken, PA(Prefer Local Candidates)
Duration: 12 Months
We are currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager with experience managing Large Scale, Complex Technology Projects. A successful candidate will manage projects and interact directly with customers and consultants on a daily basis to ensure that our Statement of Work is delivered on time and on budget. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage complex IT projects that contribute to the organization's success.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum desired
- 15 years of work experience, including 5 or more years managing software solution/implementation projects.
- At least 3 years of project management and leadership responsibilities for the implementation of major cross-functional SaaS implementation projects.
- Must have past working experience in Pharmaceutical background
- Must have work experience using Veeva or Salesforce.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, make trade-offs between competing priorities, and evaluate resources.
- Solution-based philosophy with a proven record of solving complex problems.
- Familiarity with portfolio management and coordination for IT initiatives.
- Knowledge of system integration, IT standards, and policies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Project and Visio.
- Strong understanding of system development lifecycle requirements.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the initiation, planning, execution, and closure phases of the project life cycle for IT projects involving multiple technologies, systems, business unit functions, and stakeholders.
- Manage plans, organize, and control operations and activities of IT projects at varying levels of complexity, ensuring proper integration between systems.
- Identify and document project requirements, collaborate with teams and vendors, and coordinate schedules with all stakeholders.
- Develop and implement new strategies and processes to ensure that all projects align with organizational standards and IT policies.
- Understand complex technical scenarios and requirements, working through obstacles and suggesting alternative strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Work with management and the project management team to implement best practices, system design reviews, schedule coordination, and project prioritization.
- Work with the project management team and technical staff to recommend tools and technologies for faster project delivery with enhanced quality and security.
