What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Construction Assistant Estimator position at Alpine Construction Management?
ACM (Alpine Construction Management) is a local veteran-owned commercial general contractor. We are looking for an Assistant Estimator to join our growing team of experts, industry veterans, and all-around good people. This is an in-person position at our Boise office. We are looking for someone who appreciates the good-natured camaraderie and flexibility of a smaller office, and also enjoys working proactively and individually.
Construction estimating experience is preferred but not required. But this position does require someone with an interest in construction and someone who is strong in the following areas: computer skills including MS Office and typing, analytical ability, attention to detail, organization, ability to multitask, written and verbal communication skills, ability to develop relationships with new and existing suppliers and subcontractors, and the ability to drive to and visit local job sites to take photos and notes for estimating purposes.
