Position Information: Subject matter expert and Professional Problem Solver. Performs cycle counts and maintains date rotation. Maintains inventory accuracy and resolves inventory issues as discovered. Replenishes pick locations and other general warehouse activities when required.
Essential Position Functions:
- Check date rotation on all protein lines
- Check date rotation on all dairy items
- Monthly and daily cycle counts
- Look for and count out of balance items (Discrepancy Counts)
- Check physical inventory on like items that are out of balance
- Maintain daily shortages
- Ensure FEFO and FIFO are being maintained
- Process returns
- Reconfigure storage and pick locations and transfer inventory
- Repack limited food items
- Audit outbound or inbound orders for accuracy
- Set up and validate new vendor products
- Load or receive trailers when directed
- Other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Defense Programs: HACCP, GMP
- Strong understanding of NCR-WMS and MIDE
- Effective ability to prioritize and multi-task a large volume of work
- Basic Math and English skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Safely operate electric lift truck, forklift, pallet jack
- Knowledge of food distribution a plus
- Communication with Supervisors, Peers, Vendors and Customers
- Ability to work efficiently without constant supervision
- Attention to detail
Education & Experience:
- Warehouse experience – 2 years
- Forklift experience – 2 years
- Food distribution product knowledge – 2 years
- Microsoft Office suite skills
Special Skills:
- Availability for shift recruited (Day, Swing and/or Graveyard)
- Flexibility – able to transitions task as required and return to regular duties

Physical Demands:
- Standing and walking positions.
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment and lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
- Acceptable physical agility test result, post offer.
Work Environment:
- Work performed in a refrigerated and freezer warehouse environment.
Supervision:
- This position has no Supervisory responsibility.
- Completed work is checked by Supervisor on a regular basis.
