Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar area, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during banquets or events.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or food service is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with a basic understanding of retail math.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
- Certification in food handling or responsible beverage service is highly desirable.
