Position: Systems Analyst / Jr Developer
Location: Durham, NC- 3 days onsite
FTE
MUST:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Math related degree required – MUST HAVE
- 1-4 years as Systems Analyst
- Professional experience working on integrations and configurations of vendor tools
- SQL experience- knows how to access the database, gather information in database, querying
- Need someone who can come in and learn their applications and be flexible on training
- Analytical skills
- Java programming skills
- Experience gathering technical and non technical requirements
PLUS:
- Strong background in the support of applications used in the insurance domain
- Experience with FAST Systems (it’s the admin system our client uses) matters in STEM related degree
DAY TO DAY:
- You will report to the Manager of Application Development and be apart of the application services team.
- This team aims to provide support for the Admin platforms (FAST) and configurable systems at this client.
- This person will work on application designs while partnering with technical teams to define system architecture and configuration.
- You will work closely with the business users, product owner, development team, testing team as well as deployment team providing design solutions on the client’s products by analyzing and recommending best practices.
- The person is responsible for application design, development, review, and implementation of business requirements for workflow management tool, secure data transport application, customer service software, and bank channel- clearing and settlement services
