About the Role :
Our client, a well-established freight forwarding company based in Miami, FL, is seeking an LCL Ocean Export Coordinator with some prior logistics experience to join their team. This hybrid role offers a mix of 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely , providing flexibility while maintaining close collaboration with the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in logistics who is looking to develop their expertise in LCL (Less-than-Container Load) ocean exports . Spanish language skills and CargoWise experience are a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and manage LCL ocean export shipments , including booking, scheduling, and tracking.
- Prepare and process all necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth shipment operations and resolve any issues.
- Provide updates to clients on shipment status and proactively address concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing and shipment details are accurate.
- Support senior coordinators in day-to-day tasks and operational projects.
