Detailing Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Detailing Manager to oversee the detailing department and manage projects from simple to complex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the outsourcing of detailing contracts
- Verify detailing performed by subcontractors
- Create accurate fabrication drawings from customer-provided design drawings
- Maintain a project library for repeat projects
- Detail small structural packages and assemblies
- Detail formed vessels, towers, cones, and other atypical plate work projects
- Collaborate with Project managers, Detailers, Programmers, and Purchasing to ensure project accuracy
Requirements:
- 3 Years of experience using Tekla Structures (or SDS2) and AutoCAD
- High level of computer acumen
- Plate layout expertise (formed material)
Compensation and Benefits:
- $105K-$135K Annual Salary (based on experience and qualifications)
- Dental and vision insurance available through personal plan
- 4 x 9-hour shifts Monday through Thursday
- 1 x 4-hour shift on Friday
