LIFEGUARDS NEEDED - Will Train if Needed
Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our Lifeguard team. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests at the pool. If you have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional guest service, we want to hear from you! We have pools throughout Monmouth County, Northern Ocean County and Eastern Middlesex County
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise pool area to ensure the safety of all guests
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents
- Perform water rescues and administer first aid/CPR when necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area for cleanliness and safety hazards
- Assist with pool maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and chemical testing
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns
Experience:
- Must hold and present a current and valid Lifeguard certification. Employment is contingent on applicants holding a current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification. (Other NJ state approved lifeguard certifications may be considered after management review) **Lifeguard Training is available through Alta Aquatics, or we will assist you in finding an approved training course outside our organization**
- Good swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to administer CPR
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
