Senior Developer-EM Solutions
Job Summary
Senior Developer-EM Solutions (Troy, MI). Develop numerical algorithms based on electrical engineering, computational electromagnetics, and applied mathematics for EM analysis of a printed circuit board (PCB) and electronic packages; Develop advanced algorithms to improve capability (job size and run time) in computational electromagnetics codes; Develop electromagnetic software tools using programming skills such as C, C , and Fortran for SI and PI analysis; Develop the efficient code based on parallel computing using MPI and OpenMP; Work in collaboration with other software developers using software development tools and methodologies like Git, Agile/Scrum; Communicate across the engineering disciplines and technology areas to integrate capabilities and communicate technical capabilities and analyses with the PM team supporting customers to integrate customer’s needs.
Education/Experience Required
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related and 1 year of experience as a Senior Developer or any related position in electromagnetic software engineering. Must have one year of experience in developing electromagnetic solver for signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI), working with C, C , Fortran, working with software development tools Git, Agile/Scrum. Telecommuting permitted- work may occur anywhere in the U.S. 40 hrs/wk. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
