Our commitment to providing exceptional care, despite any challenges, goes beyond just a job; it’s a calling that drives us forward every day.Job OverviewThe VP, Provider Network Management is responsible for implementing programs that are in alignment with Altura’s strategic and operating plan; providing day-to-day leadership and management of the Provider Network Management and ensuring the efficient and compliant operations of the market or product of the health plan. Additionally, the VP will provide guidance and oversight over network management including : Provider Relations, Provider Contracting, Credentialing, Provider Oversight, Health Plan Provider Operation and Client Management. The VP will exhibit insight, innovation, and leadership to drive multiple strategies while continuously improving quality, access, and Client satisfaction. The position will assist in developing, leading, aligning, and implementing the execution of tactical initiatives and strategies. In partnership with the Vice President Managed Care and Senior Leadership, the VP will integrate provider network plans, activities, and policies throughout the department in order to meet the Client requirements. The position is responsible for monitoring all aspects of the provider network, provider performance, and trends to ensure networks are developed and suitable to meet business needs. The VP will serve as a liaison between the Altura, the Clients, and physicians to develop, communicate, and execute strategic direction for the network. This position is a key contributor to the development of the strategic direction and is accountable for the management of contracting and network management activities for multiple local geographies.Minimum Requirements1. Bachelors or Master’s degree in business, business administration, health care administration or related field required. 2. Minimum of 10 years of managed care Provider Network Management or Provider Contracting experience (HMO, PPO, Provider Networks, etc.) required.3. Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team of both leaders and individual contributors.4. Working knowledge of claims, credentialing and utilization management preferred.5. Must have understanding of Medi-Cal, Medicare, RBRVS, case rate, capitation and other payment structures.Compensation$232,231.20 - $290,289.00 annuallyCompensation DisclaimerActual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
