Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Call Center Agent to join our Revenue Cycle Management team at Altea Healthcare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive experience while addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders professionally and courteously.
- Provide information about healthcare services, insurance coverage, and billing inquiries.
- Address and resolve patient concerns or complaints with empathy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions in the call center system.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay updated on healthcare policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations to protect patient information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or customer service is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining a calm and professional attitude.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
