We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Desktop Technician IV for a Full-Time position.
Job Summary:
The Desktop Technician IV serves as a senior technical resource, providing advanced Tier II support for IT systems. This position requires the ability to lead small projects, develop documentation, and support IT initiatives within the customers’ IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced desktop support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Lead small-scale IT projects and create supporting project documentation.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance.
- Manage inventory of IT hardware and software.
- Support specialized software systems such as GIS and AutoCAD.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 4 years of IT support experience, including desktop, server, and network support.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS and Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams.
- Experience developing project management documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing small IT teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL v3 best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
