Job Description :
- The Factory Information System Specialist (FISS) is responsible for ensuring a successful launch of the Factory Information System (FIS) for new and kitted programs found within the Client Vehicle Process Engineering (VPE) environment during all phases of program launch.
- Participation and support in the implementation of FIS standards and specifications during the design through the launch phase of new products are fundamental to this position.
- The FISS is responsible for supporting Line Integrators in understanding the Client VPE CARE FIS Standards and providing key timed deliverables throughout all phases of the launch.
- The FISS position is also tasked with supporting regular team meetings to review progress and identify potential obstacles, monitoring projects to meet their technical and business objectives, review of lessons learned, solutions to current and past issues, tracking and updating action registers and coordinating work schedules.
