Press Operator

Join a leading manufacturing company as a Press Operator , responsible for producing high-quality fine-blanked parts by operating press machines in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. We have two (2) open role s ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and attention to detail who thrive in a hands-on production environment.

Location : Shelton, CT

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate press machines and perform tasks as per job instructions.
• Assist with first and last piece inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Stack and fill parts into tote pans as required.
• Maintain production levels and perform quality checks per inspection guidelines.
• Operate uncoiler / straightener and ensure proper material feeding.
• Report quality or operational issues to the Pressroom Supervisor or Manager .
• Recommend process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives .
• Assist in training new press operators as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area .
• Accurately record work hours and job activities .
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulations .
