If so, we are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team! As an Administrative Assistant, you will support various administrative functions, including light accounting tasks, data entry, phone management, scheduling appointments, assisting with maintenance team coordination, and performing other duties as needed. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Providing a friendly and helpful first point of contact for phone and in-person inquiries.
- Tenant communication: Answer incoming tenant calls, call tenants to schedule maintenance and showings.
- Accurately entering and tracking incoming rent payments using property management software.
- Entering and managing data using Microsoft Excel.
- Invoicing maintenance work through QuickBooks.
- Assist property managers with various tasks as required.
- Attend education/training events as required.
- Other duties as required.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of prior Administrative Assistant experience (preferred).
- 1 years of QuickBooks experience (preferred).
- Ability to become a licensed residential rental agent. (Process includes a satisfactory background check screening/fingerprinting through the State of South Dakota).
- Proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Skilled in using web-based tools and performing online research.
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new software, including property management systems and QuickBooks.
- Valid driver’s license.
